Biased media continue public crucifixion of INC
The axis of biased media—Inquirer, ABS-CBN, and Rappler—is again crucifying the Iglesia Ni Cristo in the court of public opinion.
These biased media organizations recently revived the already disproven claims of Lowell “Boyet” Menorca II (LBM) that his and his family’s lives were threatened and harassed by the INC.
It has already been proven in court, that LBM was lying through his teeth.
There were no threats against him and his family. His claim that they were illegally detained was proven untrue.
The time they spent in the INC Central Office Complex was requested by LBM himself so that they would be under the protective custody of the Church.
His and his family’s movements were not restricted—they were able to go to places outside Metro Manila, went to groceries, hospital, gym, and even conducted a press conference outside the INC premises—thus disproving his allegation of illegal detention.
Regarding LBM’s run-in with the law, his arrests and his other pending of warrants of arrest, well, these are all his own doing. The INC leadership has nothing to do with it.
If Boyet did not make the baseless accusations against the members of SCAN (Society of Communicators and Networkers) being a death squad, then they would not have sued him for libel.
If Boyet did not have an illicit affair with a married woman, then he would not be sued for adultery.
These offences speak a lot about his character.
Despite these glaring truths about LBM’s misdeeds and shady personality, Inquirer, ABS-CBN, and Rappler continue to stand by their man, Lowell Menorca II.
This weekend, the biased media axis revived LBM’s false claims of being threatened, detained, and harassed by the INC.
Why?
It is highly probable that these biased media entities are doing this to justify their highly unusual negative media coverage against INC, and to avoid being embarrassed to their patrons that they had backed up and taken the word of a pathological liar in their quest to try the INC publicly.
No one in the INC, has taken Lowell Menorca II seriously since he went to the media to malign the Church and its leadership. The brethren know, especially those who know him personally, where Boyet is coming from.
And information from the grapevine has it that LBM has become quite a liability to the group of disgruntled expelled INC members that he is helping in sowing divisions in the INC.
It is heard that Boyet and his wife’s insatiable craving for money and luxurious lifestyle is driving a wedge between the members of that group.
... Three airplane tickets to Canada ... pocket money ... shelter and allowance ... “RTC fund” well spent? Genius. (clap, clap, clap) Suits them.
