A Wild Pig’s Tall Tales

Either it‘s gullibility or stupidity. Or, it could be both. Biased news organization lapped up the claim that Lowell “Boyet” Menorca II and his family are missing.

Now that his petition for the writ of amparo is being proven to be baseless and malicious in intent, LBM, an ever pathological liar, has again concocted a flimsy storyline to justify and dramatize his escape.

This Monday morning, Atty. Trixie Angeles, LBM’s lawyer, peddled to the media and the Court of Appeals that Menorca and his family have gone missing after receiving a death threat.

How convenient for Menorca to receive a death threat when he was about to appear in the Court of Appeals for the second round of his cross-examination today, March 7. It could be remembered that in his first cross-examination, Lowell Menorca II was not able to take the heat and his claims that his and his family’s life being threatened were proven to be all in his (swelling) head.

... Now, he claims to receive another death threat. From whom? ... (Tadadada!) From Lowell Menorca II himself.

To support LBM’s story, Trixie claimed that she was not able to reach her client since past 8 in the evening Sunday.

Inquirer, the official news organization of the disgruntled expelled members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, outlined in news article the timeline of Trixie’s communication with Boyet. (“Ex-INC minister who accused sect leaders goes missing — lawyer” by Tetch Torres-Tupas, 10:57 AM, March 7th, 2016)

During Monday’s hearing, Menorca’s counsel Atty. Trixie Angeles said last Sunday evening the last communication she had with Menorca was at 8pm Sunday.

... “He called us and told us that he was being allowed to leave to which we expressed our reservations because if there is an HDO, it would not be possible. Nevertheless he promised to call us no matter how things turned out and he has not been reachable ever since,” Angeles said.

Angeles said she could not also reach Menorca’s brother Anthony and sister-in-law Jungko.

However, the time that Angeles claimed LBM “not been reachable ever since,” Boyet was able to post in his Facebook Timeline a photo of the alleged death threat around 2 to 4 am Monday, Philippine Standard Time (PST).

Thus, INC lawyer, Atty. Patricia Ann Prodigalidad expressed suspicion to the authenticity of Trixie’s claim.

Around 1 to 2 pm Monday (PST), the photo has been deleted in LBM’s timeline.

This only shows that LBM and Trixie have been caught in a web of lies that they have spun themselves.

Despite these obvious inconsistencies, biased journalists remained contented to base their reports on unverified information. No wonder, the trust ratings of those media personnel and organizations have dramatically dipped.

The truth of the matter is that Boyet was not threatened by anyone. He made the death threat up to cover up his escape to Canada.

Photos of Boyet and his family in Vietnam with his family waiting for their connecting flight to Canada have gone viral in the Internet.

This time, Boyet must be escaping from his financial obligations to his legal counsel, the enchanting Trixie Angeles. Imagine the swelling legal fees he had to pay her—not only for legal advices, but also for the malicious public relations.

That could explain why Boyet remains unreachable to Trixie.

By this time, Lowell Menorca II is probably laughing and rolling over the dollars he had swindled from his fellow disgruntled expelled INC members.

This could also explain why Trixie is bothered now that Boyet is missing. That means missing money for her.
